I'm sure God has a good place for the captain. ! On the show he always seemed like a really good man and a good actor and when they had that girl that played his daughter it was so special. I got three sons and always wish I had a daughter like on that show. I'm getting about too old to have any more kids but I'd like to try one more time to have a daughter with a good woman that would love me and not abuse me Just a chance at a good life once in my lifetime

She was humiliated every day, the other woman answer the phone knowing who was, Both got the nerve to have sex in her bed, and laughed at her. Of course she was in a confused traumatic state of mind. Even if it was deliberated, she wasn't in complete control of her reason. This is an old creepy bias male chauvinist movie.

This teacher allowed herself to get way too close to those HS students and in an indirect way she had some degree of accountability for Kips sad death. Also, WTH was she on dressing that way to teach HS?

The man's personal marital affairs has nothing to do with his work place. And it is not his son's place to interfere between his father and his mother. Hard as it sounds, it is true. People should drop the morality lecture and get that stuff happens. It's called life. And the son, the more I watch the more I think...its not your goddam business. You might be upset, you might not like it. But your parents have every right as parents to split up.

I wasn't any rich man's daughter, but at 17 years of age I was certainly not allowed to go out at night to dance parties.... and if my father and mother hadn't separated when I was 18, God knows till what day I would still not have been allowed. I wasn't even allowed to put on make up when he was around, let alone wear a short skirt or dress, even in the summer anywhere. The girl's father was protective and responsible, it should be appreciated and respected but in today's society... it is convenient for the system to have boys and girls out and about early, to get lost early, to waste their lives early cause anyway... it's all about comparison and competition from the most tender age to the end.
